What is Dapr?​

Dapr (Distributed Application Runtime) is an open-source runtime that makes it easy to build resilient, distributed applications. It provides building blocks for common patterns like service invocation, state management, pub/sub messaging, workflows, and AI agents—all accessible through simple HTTP/gRPC APIs or language-specific SDKs.

Dapr runs as a sidecar alongside your application, meaning you don't need to include any Dapr runtime code in your application. This separation of concerns makes it easy to integrate Dapr with any language or framework.
